Guests at Glenburn have the opportunity of experiencing life on a coastal station. Enjoy quiet, restful relaxation.
Walks
Walk to Honeycomb rocks via the Honeycomb Rock Walkway.
Guided walks are by arrangement and feature panoramic, breathtaking views, native bush including Karaka trees. Duration to suit.
Fishing
Guests have boat launching access adjacent to Russ’s bach. The Glenburn coastline is regarded as one of the best sea fishing areas in New Zealand. Private ownership of the long coastline has protected the fish stocks.

- King Fish
- Terakihi
- Snapper
- Groper/Hapuka
- Moke
The Coast
Variety of landscape from sandy dunes and beaches to rocky outcrops, which are home to crayfish (lobster) and plentiful paua (abalone).
Seal Colonies
Increasing numbers of seals have colonised the southern shores of Glenburn.
